MEANS has taken up a mission that requires persistent effort and for a long time and with severe financial constraints; the task is still more arduous. The Nation is witnessing increased violence and indifference to ageing and ailing parents. There is therefore an imperative need for being human to all those unfortunate aged and neglected people. MEANS fervently appeals to all philanthropic individuals and Institutions, corporate and in fact all affluent sections of society both in India and Abroad to come forward, visit the homes we created and join hands in taking our movement further. Your visit and personal interaction with them will certainly add more years to their lives and boost the otherwise dwindling energies and spirits. MEANS has a monthly commitment of Rs. 11 lakhs towards free nutrition to in mates, medicines, diagnostics test, transportation, salaries, rent, sanitation and maintenance.
Our long term projects include a bigger home to accommodate 500 elderly with updated technology in medical care, excellent infrastructure and round the clock nursing services. The approximate cost of the project is around Rs. 15 crores. The active involvement of corporate companies and banking institutions is solicited.
